The CNES delegation to the maritime economy convention in Nice, led by its Chairman & CEO Philippe Baptiste, was welcomed to the Monaco Oceanographic Museum by its Director, Robert Calcagno, Tuesday 14 September. After a guided tour and discussions centred on future areas for cooperation, Philippe Baptiste and Robert Calcagno signed a partnership agreement aimed at gaining new insights into the oceans through space technologies, in the presence of His Excellency Laurent Stefanini, France’s Ambassador to Monaco.
CNES and French Science Academy renew partnership agreement and create CNES Astrophysics & Space Science Award

Tuesday 29 May, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and Catherine Bréchignac, Permanent Secretary of the French Science Academy, renewed the partnership agreement signed by the two bodies in May 2015 and created a new CNES Astrophysics & Space Science Award.

Monday 14 January at the agency’s Head Office in Paris, CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall and VEDECOM President Rémi Bastien signed a partnership agreement aiming to foster synergies between the two organizations’ respective missions and areas of expertise.
